Roster Format And Locker Room
TEAM LOCKER ROOMS
Every team in the league will have their own designated Locker Rooms. This area will have some requirements from the league but generally is the GM's own space for individuality.
LOCKER ROOM REQUIREMENTS:
Team Rosters - Your team members, players on IR, contract size and lengths, cap space, cap holds & drafts picks owned should all be clearly stated.
Team Transactions Record: - As a GM you are required to keep a transaction record and present it in a clear and understandable layout. Trades, Free Agency Signings, Re-signings, Draft Picks and Waivers should all be kept track of on this with dates included.
Team Trading Block: - Whether it's none of your players or all of them having a block in your Locker Room allowing other GM's to see who is available or not is really helpful to everyone.(There is also an additional place to input your block in the Trading category, this is recommended so every member has a central viewing forum).
TEAM ROSTER REQUIREMENTS:
- There will be a hard salary cap at $70,000,000. This means at any point you are not allowed to exceed this limit.
- Minimum team members will be set at 8 players. You must have at least 8 at the beginning and throughout the season.
- Maximum active team members allowed will be set at 11 players. Same as the minimum, you must have no more then 11 active players beginning and throughout the season (If a trade will place you over the roster limit you must clearly state in the trade acceptance you are aware of this and who you will drop if the trade goes through).
INACTIVE RESERVE:
There is a way to exceed the 11 player maximum and that is with the IR or Inactive Reserve. This is for any player you wish to keep rights to, but they will not be available to play.
Whether the player is injured, in the development league, overseas or unavailable to not play for whatever reason you will retain the rights of this player for the time frame of the contract.
There will be 3 IR spots for every team.
When activating and deactivating players they must stay active or on the IR respectively for at least week. This is to prevent using the IR as an 11th and 12th active roster spot and for injured players and developing talent.
Keep in mind the contract will still count against your Cap space, but not your Roster space. You are basically paying for the rights to this player.
We do ask you make sure and keep your Team Roster updated in your Team Locker Room with who is inactive and who is active so there is no confusion.
